The match was of really high quality with Viking grabbing an early two-goal lead only to see Sogndal coming back strongly in the second half. The lead is now eight points and with only four games remaining it looks like the champoinship goes to Stavanger. None of the three closest rivals could come up with a win. Start lost 0-1 to an improving Lillestrøm-team which fights to avoid the drop and Rosenborg and Lyn met in Trondheim where they played 2-2 in a match which Lyn totally dominated and should have won according to the reports. The last RBK equaliser fell three minutes into added time and should have been disallowed for a freekick to Lyn in the play that led to the goal. Elsewhere Brann and Kongsvinger drew 0-0 in a match which was a disgrace to Norwegian premier league. No wonder both these teams are struggling. Tromsø looks certain to avoid the drop after their win over bottom-of-the- table Fyllingen for whom the situation now looks rather desperate. In the last match Molde won surprisingly 2-0 away to Strømsgodset. This was a sweet revenge after the 7-0 thrashing when the two teams first met in spring.
