Start - Rosenborg 0-4 (0-2) Att: 7.293 0-1 B.O.Bragstad (5) 0-2 T.A.Dahlum (7) 0-3 Ø.Leonhardsen (46) 0-4 S.I.Bjørnebye (50) - Rosenborg shocked the home-side by scoring two goals in the first 5-7 minutes in both halves. The other 80 minutes were actually pretty even although Rosenborg's win was not in any danger. Brann - Tromsø 1-1 (1-0) Att: 7.450 1-0 Gøran Holter (14) 1-1 T.Johansen (89) - Brann again let their fans down by conceding the equaliser in the last minutes and that after totally dominating play throughout the game. Tromsø got a point they absolutely didn't deserve. Again the referee had to be escorted by the police after the final whistle because he judged that the Tromsø-equaliser did cross the line despite heavy protests from the Brann-players. It must be said though that on the TV the ball looked clearly over the line. The problem was that the ref first gave a corner before beeing aware of the linesman standing with his flag raised. After consulting him he altered his decision and pointed towards the mid-point-mark. The 'funny' thing is that this referee was the linesman in the Lillestrøm-Molde game I reported about a few weeks ago when the referees needed policeprotection as well. At the moment one might say that his best friends on the field is the police :-). Hamarkameratene - Sogndal 2-2 (2-1) Att: 1.738 1-0 S.A.Ingelstad (5) 1-1 J.Flo (13) 2-1 Ingelstad (36) 2-2 A.Hillestad (73) - A draw was a fair result in a game between two teams fighting for their lives at the wrong end of the table. Kongsvinger - Lyn 1-0 (1-0) Att: 2.830 1-0 O.E.Martinsen (42) - This defeat killed off any hopes Lyn had of any medal and virtually secured the home-team of some silverware. The win was (unfortuneately :-() perfectly in order as KIL should have had a hatful , but the front-men and especially Kaasa seems to have lost the grip lately. Lillestrøm - Mjøndalen 1-2 (0-0) Att: 3.543 0-1 R.Engan (70) 1-1 T.Gulbrandsen (79) 1-2 E.Palm (79) - Again a shock-win from Mjøndalen (remember Rosenborg...). Lillestrøm should have been 4 or 5 up at half-time and 7 up midway through the second half but became increasingly more and more frustrated as the chances were missed. MIF had four opportunities in the whole game and scored on two of them, not bad! Viking - Molde 5-0 (1-0) Att: 6.245 1-0 E.Fjetland (26) 2-0 B.Meinseth (56) 3-0 K.Storvik (86) 4-0 G.Aase (88) 5-0 S.Solberg (89) - Viking have regained their championship-form from last year after their narrow defeat in Barcelona in the CC. They dominated the whole game and played really good football at times. Now there are high hopes of saving the season , although their next opponents are Rosenborg at Lerkendal!
