Tromsø - Bodø/Glimt 1-1 (1-0)
Alfheim stadion
Att: 7 116
1-0 Morten Pedersen (3)
1-1 Harald Brattbakk (77)

- Newly promoted Bodø/Glimt salvaged a point after Tromsø stopped
playing in the second half after dominating the first.

Brann - Hamarkameratene 2-1 (2-0)
Brann stadion
Att: 9 857
1-0 Trond Egil Soltvedt (1)
2-0 Soltvedt (20)
2-1 Vegard Skogheim (57)

- A good win for Brann who scored after only 45 seconds. The fastest
'first-goal-of-a -season' ever registrated. When Soltvedt added
another the game was virtually over.

Lyn - Rosenborg 0-1 (0-0)
Ullevaal stadion
Att: 8 580
0-1 Kent Bergersen (67)

- Not a very impressive display by RBK but good enough to overcome
a Lyn-side which lacked punch up-front despite the presence of
last sesons top-scorer Kaasa (who missed 3 golden opportunities).
A draw would perhaps have reflected the match better but...

Molde - Fyllingen 1-1 (1-0)
Molde stadion
Att: 3 350
1-0 Roar Strand (14)
1-1 Eirik Høisæther (51)

- The turning point of this match was the sending-off of player-
manager Møller just before the break in a situation very
similar to the one in which D.Baggio received his marching order against
Switzerland (late and high tackle in midfield ,player not cautioned before).
Perhaps the referee had watched too much TV lately :-)
Thus Fyllingen came back strongly in the second half and
grabbed a deserved equaliser and one point.

Start - Kongsvinger 3-0 (2-0)
Kristiansand stadion
Att: 6 084
1-0 Erik Mykland (17)
2-0 Arnfinn Engerbakk (o.g. 38)
3-0 Claus Eftevaag (pen. 62)

- Very good start for the homeside although the scoreline was
too biased towards Start. KIL had their fair share of play too,
bu was not able to put the ball in the net.

Viking - Lillestrøm 1-0 (1-0)
Stavanger stadion
Att: 10 012
1-0 Ulf Karlsen (40)

- Viking showed in this match that this season they will be
one of Rosenborgs toughest opponents. The only goal came
from a corner which Grodås initially saved but the rebound
was firmly headed in by fullback Karlsen. Viking should have had
a second but were denied by a linesman who flagged for offside (a
highly disputed call IMHO) when three homeplayers were left
alone with only the keeper to beat.
