Hamarkameratene - Bodø/Glimt 1-3 (0-2) Briskeby Gressbane Att: 3.928 0-1 Tom Kåre Staurvik (27) 0-2 Kristjan Jonsson (41) 1-2 Tom Henning Hovi (47) 1-3 Staurvik (67) Yellow card: Charles Berstad, Bodø/Glimt. - Staurvik was Man of the Match as he scored two (the last on a thunderous half-volley), besides dominating the midfield. He is in contention for a place in the 22-squad. Hamkam didn't play bad in this game, but couldn't capitalize on their opportunities, as in Stavanger last week. Kongsvinger - Tromsø 3-1 (1-1) Gjemselund Att: 3.478 1-0 Vidar Riseth (37) 1-1 Sigurd Rushfeldt (42) 2-1 Riseth (76) 3-1 Dag Riisnæs (90) Yellow card: Morten Kræmer, Tromsø - This match was delayed 20 mins because the referee's car broke down on the way from Sandefjord to Kongsvinger! The home team won with two fine goals by RBK-reject Riseth. He and Frigård form a good attacking duo for KIL. Tromsø did deserve a point, but could only score once. Sogndal - VIF Fotball 0-4 (0-2) Fosshaugane Att: 2.078 0-1 Jan Erlend Kruse (4) 0-2 Espen Haug (32) 0-3 Kenneth Nysæther (72) 0-4 Nysæther (85) Yellow card: Jan Erlend Kruse, Ståle Andersen, VIF Fotball. - Another big surprise by VIF. They completely outplayed Sogndal and could easily have won by a larger margin. Sogndal played really crap, and will find live difficult in the premier division based on this performance. VIF on the other hand could surprise everybody, if they continue. They don't have any great stars, but work very hard as a team, with a strong midfield, and a tight defense. BTW their defense was regarded as the weakest in the division, and now VIF are the only team not to concede a goal! So much for the experts... Start - Brann 1-1 (0-0) Kristiansand stadion Att: 8 613 0-1 Trond Egil Soltvedt (73) 1-1 Tore André Dahlum (81) Yellow card: Geirmund Brendesæther, Magnus Johansson, Roger Helland, Brann. - On a bumby ground, Start should have won this game had their strikers done the job, but both Dahlum and Belsvik missed good opportunities. At last Dahlum scored 9 mins from time on a goalkeeping error by Bjarni Sigurdsson, who let the ball through his legs. Sad for him, as else he was excellent. Soltvedt had given Brann an undeserved lead, which they desperately tried to hold on to. Strømsgodset - Viking 1-0 (1-0) Marienlyst Att: 6.395 1-0 Odd Johnsen (pen. 18) Yellow card: Vegard Hansen, Odd Johnsen, Juro Kuvicek, Strømsgodset, Ingve Bøe, Viking. Red card: Ingve Bøe, Viking. - Another surprise in Drammen, as the home team outfought and outtackled the visitors from Stavanger. Odd Johnsen scored the only goal from the spot. The guy can't have nerves as he missed a penalty last week, and this time he placed the ball in exactly the same corner! The second yellow card of the season went to Ingve Bøe after a professional foul on Fornæs, or so it seemed. After the game Fornæs admitted he had slipped and Bøe never touched him. So, again a controversial decision by the referee. Lillestrøm - Rosenborg 2-2 (1-0) Åråsen stadion Att: 8 339 1-0 Bjørn Otto Bragstad (o.g. 35) 2-0 Ståle Solbakken (42) 2-1 Kjell Roar Kaasa (78) 2-2 Kaasa (80) Yellow card: Harald Brattbakk, Rosenborg. - In this televised game RBK-sub Kaasa stole the headlines, with two brilliant goals inside the last quarter. The first on a good turn and shot in the penalty area, and the second on a powerful header, where he hung in the air above two LSK-defenders for several seconds, or so it seemed :-) LSK looked like cruising to victory when they took a two-lead just before the break. But as last week, their play fell apart in the second half.
