VIF Fotball - Bodø/Glimt 1-1 (0-0) Ullevaal stadion Att: 4109 1-0 Ola Haldorsen (o.g. 72) 1-1 Thor Mikalsen (83) Yellow card: Thor Mikalsen, Bodø/Glimt. - A boring match both for the ones in front of the TVs and the 4000 who showd up (me included). VIF has a solid back four, but in attack Nysaether is just too lonely. They needed help from a B/G player to score. Haldorsens attemted backpass was just to hard for keeper Westad. From where I sat the ball looked stopable, so why Westad did not stop it is beyond me. Better to concede an indirect free kick, than concede a goal if you ask me. The deserved equaliser came 7 minutes from the end, when Mikaelsen stumbled his way through the VIF-defense and scored. Both teams really lacked firepower up front, and should be happy to stay up, but with the form of Sogndal and Hamkam that should be no problem at the moment. Brann - Kongsvinger 0-4 (0-2) Brann stadion Att: 12 104 0-1 Dag Riisnæs (23) 0-2 Geir Frigård (30) 0-3 Frigård (60) 0-4 Frigård (82) Yellow card: Trond Egil Soltvedt, Brann, Christer Basma, Svein Enersen, Kongsvinger. - The awaited Brann failure came yesterday in front of over 12000 home fans. Losing 4-0 at home is not championship winning form (although RBK lost 4-0 at home last year, and amusingly against Brann...). Geir Frigaard finally showed why Drillo rates him that much, and scored a hat trick. In fact KIL were closer to 5 or 6 than Brann were to get an equaliser. Shame! Guess there won't be 12000 next time (or perhaps there will, because next home game is on May 16 which usually is an almost sell-out...) Start - Lillestrøm 1-1 (0-0) Kristiansand stadion Att: 6712 0-1 Torgeir Bjarmann (52) 1-1 Petter Belsvik (90) Yellow card: André Bergdølmo, Thomas Berntsen, Lillestrøm. - Two slow-starters shared the points in Kristiansand. The game was a true reflection of their season so far. LSK once again failed to hold on to a lead, and Start went once again behind, but managed to equalise with a last minute header from Belsvik after a mistake by Grodaas. Strømsgodset - Sogndal 2-1 (0-1) Marienlyst stadion Att: 6514 0-1 Tore André Flo (19) 1-1 Ousman Nyan (60) 2-1 Juro Kuvicek (79) Yellow card: Håvard Flo, Sogndal. - The home team are now fifth after yet another battling performance. Sogndal on the other hand are already in desperate trouble, four points adrift at the bottom. The game could have gone either way, but the substitution of Nyan turned the outcome in the home teams favour. Rosenborg - Hamarkameratene 6-1 (3-0) Lerkendal stadion Att: 12 014 1-0 Harald Brattbakk (17) 2-0 Øyvind Leonhardsen (29) 3-0 Brattbakk (40) 4-0 Brattbakk (54) 5-0 Leonhardsen (56) 6-0 Roar Strand (66) 6-1 Bjørn Otto Bragstad (o.g. 84) - Top against bottom, and the expected slaugter took place. RBK could easily have scored 10. Hamkam are just as bad as all the experts said they would be, and look certain candidates for relegation. RBK on the other hand started more convincingly than in years. Since they have won the last two championships, that is definately not a good omen for the other title chasers. Viking - Tromsø 0-2 (0-0) Stavanger stadion Att: 7672 0-1 Svein Are Andreassen (51) 0-2 Thomas Hafstad (58) Yellow card: Per Egil Swift, Tromsø. - The surprise team TIL won once again, and showed that other players than Rushfeldt can score goals. Viking missed midfielder Storvik, and lost at home for the first time in over 9 months.
