Tromsø - Rosenborg 1-2 (0-0)
Alfheim stadion
Att: 9173
0-1 Jahn Ivar Jakobsen (57)
1-1 Tore André Flo (61)
1-2 Bjørn Otto Bragstad (62)
Yellow card: Morten Kræmer, TIL.

- A very close game, in which the home side were slightly the better side.
However, in the end they had nothing to show for their efforts, as the
champions got away with another important win, due to their better finishing.
Over 9000 spectators watched this game.

Hamarkameratene - Viking 0-5 (0-2)
Briskeby Gressbane
Att: 1706
0-1 Egil Østenstad (28)
0-2 Sander Solberg (39)
0-3 Tommy Bergersen (47)
0-4 Sander Solberg (70)
0-5 Bjarte L. Aarsheim (71)
Red card: Clas André Guttulsrød, Hamarkameratene.

- The deciding point of this match was the sending off after 20 minutes of
the goalkeeper of Hamkam for handling outside his area. The home side never
recovered after that, and Viking could record their first away win of the
season, and in some style. It's still early, but the home side certainly
  looked destined for relegation.

Hødd - Brann 1-0 (0-0)
Høddvoll
Att: 4164
1-0 Tommy Sylte (82)
Yellow card: Tommy Sylte, Hødd, Trevor Morley, Brann.
Red card: Even Blakstad, Hødd.

- Another sending off in this game which could have decided the game, but it
didn't. Hødd captain Blakstad was rightly sent off for handling on the line.
However, the resulting penalty was missed by Brann, and 8 minutes from time
the 10-men home side grabbed the three points with a goal by Sylte.
Hødd are still undefeated at Høddvoll, whereas Brann still haven't won away
  from home.

Stabæk - Lillestrøm 0-2 (0-1)
Nadderud stadion
Att: 3806
0-1 Geir Frigård (41)
0-2 Tom Gulbrandsen (63)
Yellow card: Christian Holter.

- LSK had to win this game to keep up the pace with Rosenborg at the top.
They did, and were in fact never threatened after the home side lost
playmaker Tommy Svindal-Larsen with an injury in the first half.
Soon after Frigård scored, and when Gulbrandsen added a second it was all
  over.

Start - Molde 1-3 (1-2)
Kristiansand stadion
Att: 6178
0-1 Ole Bjørn Sundgot (18)
1-1 Tore Løvland (22)
1-2 Arild Stavrum (43)
1-3 Ole Gunnar Solskjær (78)
Yellow card: Claus Eftevaag, Erik Mykland, Start, Knut A.
Fostervold, Ole Gunnar Solskjær, Molde.

- Molde bounced back and got a vital win in Kristiansand, whereas Start
continue to lose at home after winning away. This match was their third
home defeat in a row. Another remarkable observation is that top scorer
Belsvik (9 goals) has yet to score at home... However, on the field it
was Start that dominated, but Molde gave them a lesson in effective
finishing, scoring three times on almost as few chances.

Strindheim - Bodø/Glimt 1-1 (0-1)
Lerkendal stadion
Att: 1539
0-1 Jan Derek Sørensen (11)
1-1 Vidar Evensen (57)

- This game at the bottom could have gone either was as B/G dominated the
first and Strindheim the second half. However, they both had to settle for
a draw, which did neither of the teams any good in their fight against
  relegation.

VIF Fotball - Kongsvinger 1-3 (0-2)
Ullevaal stadion
Att: 4216
0-1 Vidar Riseth (3)
0-2 Arnfinn Engerbakk (7)
1-2 Espen Haug (75)
1-3 Caleb Francis (82)
Yellow card: Viggo Strømme, Svein Erik Pettersen, VIF Fotball,
Arnfinn Engerbakk, Ole Einar Martinsen, Kongsvinger.

- Another frustrating game for VIF-fans. As is exactly the situation with
Start, the home side continue to win and play well away from home, whereas
at Ullevaal, although dominating the matches, they lose. This game was no
exception, and once again big defensive mistakes let them down. A missed
back-header from Andersen, and an uncertain goalkeeper Krogstad gave KIL
a two goal lead, which the visitors preserved throughout the game. VIF coach
Davidsen was furious after the game, announcing all the places in defense
up for grabs for whoever wanted to play in that position, and was willing
to just kick the ball away when under pressure. Nowadays, the VIF players
just want to play so neat even in defense that they often lose the ball
  in very dangerous positions.
