The newcomers Molde are surprise silver medalists, whereas Bodø/Glimt take the bronze medals and the last UEFA Cup place. Title favourites Lillestrøm finish only fourth. At the bottom, two newcomers, Hødd and Strindheim, go straight down and it's no surprise that they are followed by Hamarkameratene. The last newcomer, Stabæk, finish in a respectable mid-table position. FIRST DIVISION All the three promoted teams have played several seasons in the top flight before. Skeid go up after 15 years in the lower divisions, and make sure of a local derby in Oslo again, Strømsgodset bounce straight back after only one year of absence from the premier divison, whereas Moss are back for the first time since 1990. There are no surprises at the bottom of the two divisions either, with a couple of teams going straight back from where they came from and another couple leaving after just a few seasons in the second highest division.
