Brann - Haugesund 3-2 (3-1) Att: 12 859 0-1 Vegard Berg Johansen (1) 1-1 Geir Hasund (5) 2-1 Hasund (22) 3-1 Kjetil Løvvik (28) 3-2 Jarle Wee (47) Yellow card: Trygve Nygaard, Magnus Johansson, Jarle Wee, Haugesund. - With this win Brann clinched either silver and bronze medals, and also a European place for the third year running. FKH took the lead after 16 seconds (!), but after that it was all about the home side, at least until FKH scored early in the second half as well. The home side also missed a penalty at 3-1. Kongsvinger - Viking 3-1 (1-0) Att: 1963 1-0 Ludwig Ernstsson (34) 2-0 Ernstsson (48) 3-0 Sven Erik Sætre (50) 3-1 Bjørn Berland (66) Yellow card: Gunnar Aaase, Erik Fuglestad, Vegard Skogheim, Viking. Red card: Bjarte L. Aarsheim, Viking. - This match will be remembered for two things. The sending off of Aarsheim, which decided the outcome of the match. And the appearence of Arnfinn Engerbakk in goal for KIL in the last five minutes. With that performance he has now played for Kongsvinger in all eleven possible positions (!) on the team during his 12 year career. Quite an achievement. Lillestrøm - Lyn 2-0 (1-0) Att: 2291 1-0 Rune Stakkeland (39) 2-0 Runar Normann (56) Yellow card: Tommy Nilsen, Lyn. - A lacklustre game which was only highlighted by the first goal for youngster Normann, and the final home game of Tom Gulbrandsen after 10 years at the club. Skeid - Rosenborg 0-5 (0-2) Att: 2721 0-1 Runar Berg (32) 0-2 Berg (33) 0-3 Harald Martin Brattbakk (54) 0-4 Brattbakk (67) 0-5 Sigurd Rushfeldt (83) Yellow card: Jan Erlend Kruse, Skeid. - RBK didn't do more than they had to to beat Skeid. Brattbakk scored two goals, and Rushfeldt one, which means that the latter leads 24-23 in terms of league goals going before the last round. RBK have also scored a record number of 85 league goals in 25 matches. Strømsgodset - Bodø/Glimt 1-1 (0-0) Att: 3488 1-0 Jostein Flo (57) 1-1 Tom Kåre Staurvik (71) Yellow card: Dmitrij Barannik, Strømsgodset, Terje Ellingsen, Rohnny Westad, Bodø/Glimt. - No revenge for B/G after the semifinal defeat, but no win for SIF either, and they now have to win their last game to have any chance of the bronze medals. Tromsø - Sogndal 0-1 (0-0) Att: 2896 0-1 Svein Are Andreassen (51) Yellow card: Bjørn Johansen, Tromsø, Kai Erik Moen, Sogndal. - Sogndal still have hopes of avoiding the relegation play-off, after beating TIL. With a home win against KIL, coupled with a defeat for Tromsø away to Lyn it will be the team from Northern Norway which will have to take on first division side Eik-Tønsberg. Incidently, the only goal of the game was scored by former TIL player Andreassen... Molde - Stabæk 4-1 (2-1) Att: 3182 1-0 Andreas Lund (10) 1-1 Helgi Sigurdsson (30) 2-1 Bjarki Gunnlaugsson (41) 3-1 Gunnlaugsson (48) 4-1 Sindre Rekdal (50) Yellow card: Arild Stavrum, David Hanssen, Petter Belsvik, Christer Basma, Axel Kolle, Stabæk, Sindre Rekdal, Molde. Red card: Helgi Sigurdsson, Stabæk. - Molde are still in contention for the silver medals after hammering Stabæk. The turning point of the game was the controversial sending off of Sigurdsson, when he was judged to foul Olsen free on goal, when it could appear he only took the ball. From the resulting freekick Molde scored 2-1, and with two early goals in the second half the match was over as a contest. Stabæk now have to rely on others to get into Europe.
