Viking finally managed to score some goald and showed more desire to win than the home team. The visitors took the lead, but that only seemd to wake the home team up. Man of the match was Sætre with two goals and two assists. Lillestrøm - Molde 1-1 (0-1) Att: 3487 0-1 Daniel Berg Hestad (9) 1-1 Frank Strandli (60) Yellow card: Steinar Pedersen, Torgeir Bjarmann, Lillestrøm, Trond Strande, Molde. - Lillestrøm could only get a draw against Molde, in a game which marked the return of old hero, Dennis Schiller, to Åråsen. Once again, the home side was guilty of missing several clear-cut chances. Lyn - Rosenborg 0-5 (0-4) Att: 5333 0-1 Bent Skammelsrud (pen. 3) 0-2 Thomas Wæhler (o.g. 9) 0-3 Trond Egil Soltvedt (28) 0-4 Sigurd Rushfeldt (30) 0-5 Rushfeldt (72) Yellow card: Kjetil Wæhler, Marius Skjønsberg, Lyn. - The scoreline might be impressive, but the play on the field was more even. The only problem being that Lyn gifted RBK a couple of easy goals in the first half. Especially defender Thomas Wæhler was very unlucky in that respect. He fouled Mini in the incident leading to the penalty, he then scored an own goals, and it was him who needlessly lost the ball in build-up to the fourth goal. When RBK also converted most of their chances the outcome was inevitable. With a four-goal halftime lead the game was certainly over as a contest. In the second half there could have been more goals for either side, but it was only Rushfeldt who scored, his second of the day. Sogndal - Bodø/Glimt 1-2 (0-0) Att: 1316 0-1 Stig Johansen (47) 1-1 Eivind Karlsbakk (69) 1-2 Johansen (81) Yellow card: Jan Derek Sørensen, Bodø/Glimt, Kai Erik Moen, Eivind Karlsbakk, Sogndal. - Stig Johansen scored two more goals, which decided the outcome of this bottom-of-the-table clash in Sogndal. The home team could have gotten more out of the game, had they scored on a penalty in the first half. Tromsø - Skeid 2-2 (0-0) Att: 3265 0-1 Dagfinn Enerly (47) 0-2 Morten Berre (52) 1-2 Ole Martin Årst (75) 2-2 Svein Morten Johansen (80) Yellow card: Jonas Wirmola, Ole Kristian-Vikan, Knut Helge Hagen, Skeid. Red card: Knut Helge Hagen, Christer George, Skeid. - Skeid looked to be heading for another win, but then had two players sent off and in the end had to fight hard to even get a point. Hagen was sent off 30 minutes from time after his second yellow card, which promted a TIL comeback. The home team equalized and shortly after George was sent off for throwing sand at an opponent(!), 6 minutes after entering the field as a substitute. In the dying second Skeid had to clear the ball off the line on several occations.
