Brann - Sogndal 4-0 (0-0)
Brann stadion
Att: 7455
1-0 Raymond Kvisvik (pen. 50)
2-0 Per-Ove Ludvigsen (56)
3-0 Svante Samuelsson (59)
4-0 Cato Guntveit (64)
Yellow card: Asle Hillestad, Sogndal.

- With this defeat Sogndal are relegated to the first division once
again. Brann, on the other hand, are finally out of any danger of
  relegation.

Haugesund - Bodø/Glimt 5-4 (3-2)
Haugesund stadion
Att: 2804
1-0 Trond Bjørndal (12)
2-0 Jarle Wee (14)
2-1 Arild Berg (17)
2-2 Berg (27)
3-2 Bala Garba (41)
4-2 Sjur Jarle Hauge (68)
4-3 Tommy Bergersen (70)
4-4 Bent Sæternes (88)
5-4 Garba (89)
Yellow card: Ola Haldorsen, Bodø/Glimt, Sjur Jarle Hauge,
Haugesund.

- A dramatic last minute winner maintains FKH's slim hopes of avoiding
relegation. As they play Moss and KIL in their remaining games, it's
more or less up to themselves. B/G are in no-man's land in the table,
which is probably why they lost despite scoring four goals, in what
was of course a very entertaining game.

Lillestrøm - Stabæk 2-3 (0-2)
Åråsen
Att: 2919
0-1 Helgi Sigurdsson (13)
0-2 Sigurdsson (39)
1-2 Heidar Helguson (62)
2-2 Trond Bjørnsen (75)
2-3 Jesper Jansson (79)
Yellow card: Runar Kristinsson, Arnar Vidarsson, Lillestrøm, Tommy
Stenersen, Stabæk.

- With another good away performance Stabæk secured at least the bronze
medals, their first piece of silverware in Norwegian football ever.
LSK provided stiff resistance, though, and the winning goal for Stabæk
was against the run of play.

Rosenborg - Vålerenga 1-0 (0-0)
Lerkendal stadion
Att: 18 029
1-0 Sigurd Rushfeldt (pen. 88)
Yellow card: Bjørn Viljugrein, Juro Kuvicek, Vålerenga.

- Vålerenga opted for the same tactic as against Rapid in midweek, which
meant to defend in deep in a 4-5-1 formation, and go for fast counter
attacks through Carew. The tactic worked very well, at least in the
first half, and even though RBK had the best chances, Vålerenga could
have scored as well. After the break, RBK continued to press forward, but
their usual fluent rhythm was nowehere to be seen as Vålerenga defended
even deeper than in the first half. Unfortunately, this meant that the
visitors were unable to create any opportunities themselves, and two
minutes from time RBK were awarded a penalty kick after Johnsen was
fouled. Rushfeldt scored with ease, which meant three more points in
the RBK bag, and almost certainly a new league title. Hard luck for
VIF, which contained the home team for 88 minutes, but the win was
obviously deserved. After the game, there were some severe criticism
of the way Vålerenga had played, but when you're threatened by
relegation, every goal counts and Rosenborg away is probably one of
the most difficult encounters in European football these days.

Strømsgodset - Kongsvinger 1-0 (1-0)
Marienlyst stadion
Att: 4146
1-0 Christer George (16)
Yellow card: Kenneth Karlsen, Strømsgodset, Pål Håpnes, Harald
Solberg, Charles Berstad, Kongsvinger.

- A very vital home for SIF, which gives them a more than decent chance
of avoiding the drop. KIL, on the other hand, are in deep trouble, and
simply need three points against Viking next time around, before the
6-ponter at Haugesund in the last round.

Tromsø - Molde 2-6 (0-2)
Tromsdalen kunstgress
Att: 2457
0-1 Jo Tessem (8)
0-2 Odd Inge Olsen (41)
0-3 Andreas Lund (47)
1-3 Rune Lange (60)
1-4 Tessem (69)
1-5 Tessem (78)
2-5 Lange (80)
2-6 Ole Bjørn Sundgot (82)
Yellow card: Frode Fermann, Tromsø, Petter Chr. Singsaas, Daniel
Berg Hestad, Molde.

- TIL are in big trouble after losing once more, and with Vålerenga and
Rosenborg away in their remaining matches, a play-off position, just
like last year, is not out of the question. Molde, are concentrating
on winning the silver medals, and hoping RBK slip up in their last
two home games, which is very unlikely, though. The game was moved
to the artificial pitch in Tromsdalen, as Valhall was not playable due
to heavy rain. After the defeat, TIL coach Sandberg resigned, in the
hope that such a decision would help Tromsø save their place in the
  premier division.

Viking - Moss 5-2 (2-0)
Stavanger stadion
Att: 4263
1-0 Rikhardur Dadason (3)
2-0 Magnus Svensson (7)
3-0 Helge Bjønsaas (46)
3-1 Brynjar Gunnarsson (54)
4-1 Odd Arne Espevoll (pen. 62)
5-1 Bjarte Lunde Aarsheim (80)
5-2 Dagfinn Enerly (84)
Yellow card: Jerry Månsson, Per Morten Haugen, Moss.

- An easy home win for Viking, which secures European football in Stavanger
next season. Moss, on the other hand, played without real conviction
which is strange considering their position in the table, and are now
in need of all points against FKH at home in the next round to avoid
  relegation.
