- This game was shown live on national TV. Moss completely dominated
  the first half, but failed to take their chances. After the break they
  went ahead on a dubious penalty, before conceding two goals to an
  improved visiting team. However, the defensive problems of Vålerenga
  continue, and they allowed two goals by substitute Kiel in the closing
  stages. The first immediately after VIF had taken the lead, and
  the second after poor marking in the penalty area. With this win Moss
  are sixth, whereas fellow newcomer Vålerenga are a disappointing tenth.
