Brann - Tromsø 3-1 (3-0) Brann stadion Att: 11.012 1-0 Petter Furuseth Olsen (23) 2-0 Furuseth Olsen (36) 3-0 Thorstein Helstad (38) 3-1 Miika Koppinen (57) Yellow card: Svante Samuelsson, Brann, Jimmy De Wulf, Frode Fermann, Rune Johansen, Tromsø. - A realtively easy home win for Brann. New star Furuseth Olsen scored twice in a first half massively dominated by Brann. After the break TIL got one goal back, but never really threatened to reduce the lead more. For the first time this season TIL was involved in a league game in which both teams scored! Lillestrøm - Strømsgodset 7-4 (5-2) Åråsen stadion Att: 5469 1-0 Stian Berget (14) 2-0 Magnus Powell (15) 2-1 Jostein Flo (20) 3-1 Powell (23) 4-1 Powell (36) 5-1 Clayton Zane (43) 5-2 David Hanssen (45) 5-3 Hanssen (51) 6-3 Powell (60) 6-4 Flo (62) 7-4 Torjus Hansén (pen. 80) Yellow card: Peter Werni, Lillestrøm. - League leader LSK impressed once more by putting seven goals past SIF. Swede Powell scored four, making it 11 in 6 matches! He is now joint top scorer with Helstad of Brann, and fellow team mate Zane who scored another goal today. However, allowing SIF to score four goals is not good defending and can't be repeated when the top teams visit Åråsen if the first championship since 1989 shall become a reality. Lyn - Sogndal 1-1 (1-1) Ullevaal stadion Att: 2567 0-1 Rune Bolseth (pen. 11) 1-1 Helgi Sigurdsson (39) Yellow card: Yngvar Håkonsen, Lyn, Dag Christian Sørum, Sogndal. - A rather dull affair between the two newcomers. Håvard Flo was well marked by the Lyn defence. Sigurdsson scored his first goal for Lyn after his transfer from Panathinaikos. Molde - Rosenborg 1-1 (1-1) Molde stadion Att: 11.167 1-0 André Schei Lindbæk (24) 1-1 Erik Hoftun (37) Yellow card: Daniel Berg Hestad, Molde, Bent Skammelsrud, Erik Hoftun, Rosenborg. - Another draw for the champions, their sixth game without a win, five of which have been draws. The game was highly competitive and very even with few chances between the sides. Now, RBK find themselves in an unusual fourth position, but with a number of relatively easy games against lower position teams coming up this is expected to change soon. Odd Grenland - Bodø/Glimt 0-5 (0-3) Odd stadion Att: 5022 0-1 Trond Fredrik Ludvigsen (16) 0-2 Ludvigsen (24) 0-3 Bengt Sæternes (37) 0-4 Fredrik Kjølner (57) 0-5 Ludvigsen (60) Yellow card: Espen Hoff, Bård Borgersen, Christian Flindt Bjerg, Odd Grenland, André Hanssen, Bodø/Glimt. - The shock result of the week. The best home team with fewest goals conceded against the visitors without an away win since last year. Young prospect Ludvigsen was in excellent form and tormented the Odd defence with his pace and trickery scoring three good goals. For the home team this was a massive blow to the title aspirations. Stabæk - Bryne 4-0 (1-0) Nadderud stadion Att: 2711 1-0 Marel Baldvinsson (40) 2-0 Jan Åge Fjørtoft (47) 3-0 Fjørtoft (57) 4-0 Fjørtoft (88) Yellow card: Geir Atle Undheim, Bryne. - Stabæk continue their good habit of late of winning against the bottom teams, something which used to be a problem in previous years. Old star Fjørtoft justified his return to the starting eleven by scoring a second half hat trick. Bryne will soon be relegated unless they get their act together pretty soon. Viking - Moss 2-1 (1-1) Stavanger stadion Att: 5700 1-0 Erik Nevland (5) 1-1 Toni Kuivasto (o.g. 29) 2-1 Nevland (50) - Once more Viking struggeled at home against a supposedly inferior opponent. Once more the home teams missed the easiest of chances, and gave away a freak goal when goal keeper Andersen's clearance hit defender Kuivasto's back head and ricochetted into the net. Surely a goal for the football entertainment video. Nevland came to the rescue with two more goals, but the signs are not good for the team from Stavanger.
