- Bryne looked like securing three vital points against fellow strugglers
  SIF, when Olsen popped up and hammered in massive equalizer from 20 metres
  out.  A draw was a fair result.  However, it keeps both teams rooted to
  the bottom.

- LSK bounced back from their semifinal disaster, and surely, but slowly
  pushed Molde backwards in the second half.  The outcome was a deserved
  equalizer, and a winning goal by Moen two minutes into injury time. 
  Now, the visitors suddenly have the upper hand against Rosenborg,
  with three home games left, one of which against their closest rivals
  in two weeks time.  That game promises to be the game of the season in
  Norway and has already been sold out for weeks.

- Despite relentless pressure for 90 minutes, RBK could only score
  once against Lyn.  That was only good for one point as the visitors
  equalized shortly after the break after a mix-up in the home defence.
  Man of the match was former RBK-(reserve)keeper Ødegaard, who played
  a blinder.

- Things are looking desperate for TIL now.  In a game they had to win,
  the home team once more dominated and took the lead, but failed to
  capitalize on their chances.  Main culprit was M'Baye, who should 
  have had a hat-trick.  TIL are now very close to relegation as their
  two remaining away games are against Odd Grenland and Lillestrøm, two
  of the best home teams in Norway.  With the win, the young Sogndal
  side made sure of another season in the premier division.  Possibly,
  the biggest surprise in 2001.
