Lyn - Moss 0-2 (0-1) Ullevaal stadion Att: 3011 0-1 Christian G. Petersen (40) 0-2 Simen Brenne (85) - Lyn missed their chance of making sure of another season in the premier season. Despite a lot of posession and some nice moves, the home side failed to score, allowing the visitors to grab late goals in each half. Now, Lyn have to get some more points in their remaining games against other relegation candidates Tromsø and Bryne. Odd Grenland - Tromsø 0-0 Odd stadion Att: 3950 Yellow card: Thomas Hafstad, Tromsø. - Odd really should have sent TIL further down to the first division, but missed a hatful of chances, including a penalty in the first half. The visitors now need a miracle to stay up, and what was more worrying was the lack of commitment in their play given their situation. Stabæk - Molde 0-1 (0-1) Nadderud stadion Att: 3944 0-1 Bernt Hulsker (25) Yellow card: Petur Marteinsson, Tobias Linderoth, Stabæk, Knut Anders Fostervold, Karl Oskar Fjørtoft, Bernt Hulsker, Molde. Red card: Tobias Linderoth (90). - Molde established a firm grip on the fourth place, which will mean a UEFA Cup place if Viking win the cup final. Stabæk are now fifth which must be considered a disappoinment since they wanted to challenge RBK for the title. Strømsgodset - Bodø/Glimt 1-4 (1-1) Marienlyst stadion Att: 3528 0-1 Trond Fredrik Ludvigsen (3) 1-1 Hans Erik Ødegaard (41) 1-2 Ludvigsen (56) 1-3 Bengt Sæternes (86) 1-4 Ludvigsen (90) Yellow card: Glenn Arne Hansen, Stefan Gislason, Hans Erik Ødegaard, Tamas Szekeres, David Hansen, Strømsgodset, Cato Hansen, Mika Peltola, Christian Steen, Bengt Sæternes, Bodø/Glimt. - B/G made sure of another season in the top flight with a good counter-attacking performance. Big hero was young prospect Ludvigsen with three goals. SIF had a lot of posession, but their defending leaves a lot to be desired. Relegation is now a distinct possibility. Sogndal - Bryne 1-4 (1-0) Sogndal stadion Att: 1502 1-0 Roar Fredriksen (40) 1-1 Jonas Jonsson (73) 1-2 Marcus Andreasson (75) 1-3 Geir Atle Undheim (85) 1-4 Pierre Gallo (90) - The game was not played at Fosshaugane due to installation of under-soil heating. In the first half the home side took the lead and could easily have scored more. However, Bryne's fighting spirit which have taken them to the cup final and away from the bottom position in recent weeks once more proved decisve. Four goals in the last quarter gave the visitors three crucial points in their fight against relegation. Lillestrøm - Rosenborg 1-2 (0-1) Åråsen stadion Att: 11.782 0-1 Sigurd Rushfeldt (40) 0-2 Frode Johnsen (69) 1-2 Torgeir Bjarmann (86) - The most talked-about Norwegian premier division game for many years. Could the Rosenborg stronghold of the title be wrestled away from them by Lillestrøm? A packed stadium (which could easily have been sold out two times), and hundred thousands watching on national TV. The game didn't live up to the expectations. Partly, because it was more of a fight than a well played game, and partly because once more Rosenborg's superiority showed in a crucial match, much to the annoyance of most neutral observers. The chances were far between and the first goal would decide a lot. Despite some Lillestrøm half chances, that fell to Rosenborg when Rushfeldt headed in a cross from the left. In the second half, Rosenborg dominated more, and made sure of the win with a Johnsen goal 20 minutes from time. The home side reduced the margin shortly before time, and despite some heavy pressure in the last minutes Rosenborg held out for a win which probably decided the title in their favour. The defending champions have a tough two matches with Stabæk at home followed by Brann away, but two more points is all that is needed. Lillestrøm face Moss away and then Tromsø at home in the two last rounds. An easier schedule, but four points behind is probably too much. The home side certainly missed a golden opportunity in this championship decider. Brann - Viking 0-1 (0-1) Brann stadion Att: 9480 0-1 Jørgen Tengesdal (25) Yellow card: Martin Knudsen, Brann, Trygve Nygård, Viking. - Brann continue their slump, whereas Viking are still hungry for second position and a place in the CL. Tengesdal scored their only goal, and despite some heavy Brann pressure after the break, the home team failed to score as all their strikers have lost that ability lately. Another disappointing season for the team from Bergen.
