- Lyn win the bronze medals and Viking finish fourth.  Nevland decided 
  the outcome with the only goal of the game, although Lyn missed some

- Moss had to beat Stabæk to stay up, but instead conceded a heavy
  home defeat.  It started bad when playing coach Tangen put the ball
  past his keeper, but the continued even worse...  All credit to Stabæk
  which have shown excellent gamemanship in consecutive games, but first
  beating Molde and then Moss.  The home team go down and have to look
  forward to first division football and the prospect of a local derby
  against Fredrikstad next season.

- Brann started brightly, but once they went behind, the visitors stopped
  believing, as so often this season.  In the end, Moss' defeat meant
  play-off against Sandefjord, who lost the first division promotion
  decider to Aalesund.  Norway's most successful coach, Nils Arne Eggen, 
  said goodbye in his last league game at Lerkendal in front of the
  biggest crowd of the season.

- Start are like most bottom clubs in that they start brightly, but 
  fall apart once a goal is conceded.  This game was no exception,
  this B/G had little trouble securing another season in the top 
  division.  Start go down having scored the least goals and gained
  the least points since the introduction of a 14-team top division.
  Only 1442 people watched the game, the smallest crowd of the season.
