 On the last day of the season the faith of the bottom five threatened by
relegation was deceided. The outcome was no big surprise. Fyllingen and
Strømsgodset go down after two years in the top flight while Brann have to
play in the play-off. The all important match in Bergen ended in a deserved 
2-0 win for Brann in front of almost 15.000 spec. Unbelieveable !!
 However this victory was not enough to lift them above the 10th spot 
because Molde got an equally important away win in Tromsø and at the same 
time Kongsvinger hold on to a draw against Lyn although according to the
reports Lyn pressed in the last quarter. 
  At the top Rosenborg grabbed the silver-medal and a place in Europe after
beating Lillestrøm at Lerkendal whilst the bronze went to Start which 
drew 0-0 in Stavanger against the champions Viking in a match which was
a disgrace to both teams. Based in this performance it looked inbelieveable
that both these clubs have been at the top during the whole season.
 In the last match Fyllingen did their job in avoiding the drop defeating
Sogndal 2-1 with a last-minute winner but it couldn't prevent them
from going down, something that I don't regret particularily.
