 In a dramatic last game of the season Brann deservedly kept their premier
league place after beating Bryne 1-0. The game was played in difficult
conditions with a gale, force wind sweeping across the field. Brann started
best in the first half but couldn't break through before in the last minute
of the half when Haaberg netted from close range after a good, low cross
from A.Stavrum. In the second half the game was a real battle with numerous
opportunities on both side. It was unbelieveable that this half ended
scoreless. Among others Bryne had a header which was saved on the goalline by
 a defender while on the other hand Ahlsen missed from five metres with only 
the keeper to beat . This win means that Bergen is still represented with
a club in our best league as it should in my opinion !!!
