Brann - Viking 3-1 (2-1) Att: 20.292 0-1 Meinseth (25) 1-1 P.Hansson (37) 2-1 T.Morley (45) 3-1 O-E Stavrum (62) - Another defeat for Viking which is now in a critical situation at the bottom of the table. Important win for Brann though (and first home-goals as well). The attendance was Branns highest since the Cup-semi against Bodo/Glimt in 1976 ! Kongsvinger - Start 1-3 (1-0) Att: 2.888 1-0 T.Bergmann (45) 1-1 M.Pettersen (58) 1-2 F.Strandli (72) 1-3 T.A Larsen (90) - Kongsvinger dominated the game in the first half and got the lead on the stroke of half time. In the second Start moved up their players on the field and scored three important goals. Very disappointing attendance figures. Lyn - Lillestrøm 3-1 (2-0) Att: 9.000 1-0 S.Amundsen (14) 2-0 D.Schiller (o.g. 39) 2-1 K.Nysæther (75) 3-1 R.Johnsen (86) - Very entertaining match between two top teams. I was there among over 9000 other spectators which was Lyns highest crowd since returning to the top flight last season (I think...). Lyn started best and I counted four 100 % chances inside the first quarter so it came as no surprise to anybody that their intense pressure paid of in the 14th minute with an excellent goal by Amundsen who dribbeled past two defenders and the keeper before putting the ball in the almost empty net. Lyns domination continued for the rest of the half and their second goal came as defender Fladmark crossed from the right and unlucky Swede D.Schiller tried to clear the ball but hit it so badly that in went over the goalkeeper who had come off his line and into the net. In the second half the game changed a lot after Lillestrøm had changed their playing system from 4-4-2 to 3-5-2. Now they were the attacking side and Lyn had to defend. To my relief they did that very well but after 75 min. LSK stroke back with one of their specials , a goal from a set-piece (i.e. corner). The last quarter was very hectic with Lillestrøm pushing forward but that resulted only (yet again..) that they were caught on the break by a clever counter-attack from the home-side which Johnsen finished nicely with a half-volley on a cross from Agdestein. Now Lyn are 'up there where we belong' as Joe Cocker once sung... Molde - Mjøndalen 2-0 (2-0) Att: 4.473 1-0 S.J. Dahle (6) 2-0 Dahle (7) - Two quick first half goals ended Mjøndalens hopes of getting on the point (and score-)sheet. They have now played 360 mins. without scoring and just look too weak for the Premier league, whereas Molde continue their good run although it must be said that they are still to be relly tested. Wins agains Mjøndalen, Sogndal and Tromsø is well done but nothing more... Rosenborg - Sogndal 5-1 (1-1) Att: 24.023 1-0 Tangen (16) 1-1 R.Nilsson (25) 2-1 Bjørnebye (46) 3-1 Sørloth (70) 4-1 Dahlum (73) 5-1 Sørloth (89) - Rosenborg thanked for the massive support from their fans by totally outplaying Sogndal especially after the break. For the first time this season they both played well and got three points. Tromsø - Hamarkameratene 0-3 (0-0) Att: 5.301 0-1 Ytterland (53) 0-2 Ytterland (59) 0-3 Sætre (74) - Rather dull affair with Hamkam beeing the better side and scoring three fine goals in front of a very disappointed homecrowd.
