Rosenborg - Brann 4-2 (2-1) Lerkendal stadion Att: 9262 1-0 Sigurd Rushfeldt (24) 2-0 Rushfeldt (34) 2-1 Kjetil Løvvik (40) 3-1 Runar Berg (77) 4-1 Jahn Ivar Jakobsen (80) 4-2 Bjarki Gunnlaugsson (90) Yellow card: Bjørn Otto Bragstad, Rosenborg, Arne Vidar Moen, Brann. - RBK keep up the pressure on Molde with a deserved win in the televised game. Though, Brann didn't surrender until 15 minutes from time, there was little doubt as to where the win would go. Kongsvinger - Moss 2-4 (0-1) Gjemselund stadion Att: 2441 0-1 Jerry Månsson (38) 0-2 Tommy Sylte (47) 0-3 Månsson (53) 0-4 Carsten Johansen (69) 1-4 Ludwig Ernstsson (72) 2-4 Trym Bergman (73) Yellow card: Øyvind Berg, Andreas Alm, Kongsvinger, Rino Hansen, Carsten Johansen, Moss. - KIL coach Sjøvold resigned on Friday, after indicating that he would not extend his contract for another year. Former KIL, and LASK Linz coach Brogeland was brought in as his replacement, but he didn't get the best of starts as the visitors ran away with all three points. Clearly, there is work ahead for Brogeland. Molde - Bodø/Glimt 1-0 (1-0) Molde stadion Att: 6045 1-0 Andreas Lund (14) Yellow card: Knut Anders Fostervold, Molde, Cato Hansen, Bodø/Glimt. - Are Molde beginning to feel the pressure at the top? A narrow 1-0 against B/G keep the home team in the lead, but the signs are not good at the moment. The play is erratic, and central players seem to be out of form. Only time will tell. Strømsgodset - Haugesund 4-1 (0-0) Marienlyst stadion Att: 3887 1-0 Jostein Flo (61) 2-0 Flo (63) 2-1 Bala Garba (80) 3-1 Flo (83) 4-1 Flo (85) - Good, old Jostein Flo was clearly man-of-the-match, scoring all four goals for his club. He is a very important player for the home team, perhaps too important. With 17 goals in 14 games, Flo is also joint top scorer with Rushfeldt of RBK. FKH lost again, after a couple of encouraging games, but at least kept their play-off position. Tromsø - Lillestrøm 1-0 (1-0) Valhall stadion Att: 2605 1-0 Rune Lange (4) Yellow card: Tryggvi Gudmundsson, Tromsø, Svein Are Andreassen, Runar Normann, Lillestrøm. - Another goal by Lange setttled this game. The home team should really have scored more goals, and especially Lange himself was guilty of missing a couple of good opportunities. Viking - Sogndal 5-1 (2-1) Stavanger stadion Att: 5732 1-0 Ronny Kristensen (27) 2-0 Rikhardur Dadason (34) 2-1 Helge Bjønsaas (o.g. 43) 3-1 Christian Flindt Bjerg (79) 4-1 Dadason (83) 5-1 Magnus Svensson (90) Yellow card: Petter Bakke, Sogndal. Red card: Petter Bakke, Sogndal. - Apart from the first quarter, this match was no contest for Viking. Once they had taken the lead, Sogndal had little chance of leaving Stavanger with any points. And especially after being reduced to 10 men. The home side are now third, and will probably fight with Stabæk for the bronze medals. Vålerenga - Stabæk 2-0 (2-0) Bislett stadion Att: 8650 1-0 Espen Haug (13) 2-0 John Carew (19) Yellow card: Kjell Roar Kaasa, Tom Henning Hovi, Vålerenga, Martin Andresen, Axel Kolle, Stabæk. - Egil "Drillo" Olsen returned to club football as manager of bottom club Vålerenga, and he couldn't have asked for a better start. Switching formation to his usual 4-5-1, VIF looked like a different team altogether, and gained three very valubale points against their western rivals just outside Oslo. More importantly, the home team didn't concede any goals (something never change when "Drillo" is in charge...), and still created many good opportunities and played with more will-to-win then ever before in this season. This could be the turning point for Vålerenga, at least all the fans hope so.
