The home team looked like cruising towards victory at one stage, leading 3-0, but Viking managed to equalize, before sub Finstad decided the outcome. Now, Stabæk are six points ahead of Viking in the battle for third place. Haugesund - Brann 2-3 (2-1) Haugesund stadion Att: 4923 1-0 Bala Garba (2) 1-1 Cato Guntveit (5) 2-1 Morten Berre (8) 2-2 Kjetil Løvvik (67) 2-3 Raymond Kvisvik (84) Yellow card: Sjur Jarle Hauge, Haugesund, Stefan Thordarsson, Brann. - Vastly improving Brann won once more, and continued their excellent form. FKH on the other hand, once more lost a game in which they had the lead for long spells, which might prove to be their downfall. Lillestrøm - Sogndal 0-1 (0-0) Åråsen stadion Att: 2600 0-1 Bjørn Tore Hansen (77) Yellow card: Leif Gunnar Smerud, Lillestrøm, Ståle Bokalrud, Tommy Øren, Sogndal. - Sogndal haven't given up their premier division status yet, and deservedly beat a lackluster home side, with little to play for. Rosenborg - Kongsvinger 4-0 (1-0) Lerkendal stadion Att: 9584 1-0 Sigurd Rushfeldt (17) 2-0 Roar Strand (49) 3-0 Runar Berg (87) 4-0 Tore André Dahlum (90) Yellow card: Bjørn Otto Bragstad, Rosenborg, Gunnlaugur Jonsson, Andreas Alm, Kongsvinger. - As expected, RBK once more won with considerable ease against KIL, 10 days after trashing them 8-2 in Kongsvinger. Although, the home win was never in any doubt, KIL put a good fight, and the last two goals were both scored in the dying minutes. This result, combined with the one at Bislett, keeps KIL in the playoff position, whereas RBK take over at the top. Strømsgodset - Bodø/Glimt 2-2 (0-1) Marienlyst stadion Att: 3352 0-1 Tommy Bergersen (30) 1-1 Josten Flo (49) 1-2 Tom Kåre Staurvik (71) 2-2 Christer George (81) Yellow card: Thomas Wæhler, Strømsgodset, Andreas Evjen, Bodø/Glimt. - SIF, which very surprisingly sacked coach Kristoffersen the day after their heroic game against Villa(!) in midweek, had Flo back after injury, and he returned in his usual way, by scoring one goal, and assisting for the other. B/G have little to play for and that showed. However, strange, that the home side threatened by relegation, were equally weak. Tromsø - Moss 0-0 Valhall stadion Att: 1762 Yellow card: Marko Tuomela, Tromsø, Tommy Sylte, Moss Red card: Anders Juliussen, Moss. - Another weak game, in which Moss decided to go for the 0-0 draw, once Juliussen was sent off after 20 minutes. Despite numerous chances, including hitting the woodwork on a couple of occations, TIL were unable to score. Now, both teams are still involved in the battle against relegation. Vålerenga - Molde 3-1 (0-0) Bislett stadion Att: 12 318 1-0 John Carew (49) 1-1 Jo Tessem (71) 2-1 Bjørn Viljugrein (pen. 87) 3-1 Jon Eirik Ødegaard (90) Yellow card: Joachim Walltin, Vålerenga, Karl Oskar Fjørtoft, Molde. - Vålerenga took a giant step away from relegation, and also became the first teams to take three points off Molde in the league this season. In all, Molde managed to play 21 matches without defeat from the start of the season, which is a new Norwegian record. Once more, Carew had an excellent game, scoring once and being fouled for the penalty. Also, Haraldsen had a good game at the back, when Molde piled on the pressure, especially in the first half. The game attracted over 12 thousands spectators, including 900 supporters in 19 buses from Molde, whose expenses were all paid by their wealthy beneficier Røkke. On the day, it didn't matter much, though.
