- As expected Mallorca of Spain proved to be a very difficult side 
  to score against. The visitors allowed Molde plenty of posession,
  but the Norwegians rarely threatened in fron of goal. Molde should 
  have had a penalty late in the hgame, though when Strande was tripped,
  but the referee waved play on. Now, the return leg in Palma will be 
  very diffcult, and anything apart from a clear home win is a major
  surprise.
