- Two early goals settled the tie. Shelbourne got one goal
  back, but Belsvik made sure the return leg is a formality with
  a late goal. Not more than to be expected from RBK.

- A very lackluster performance from RBK, whose players had difficulties
  playing well knowing that they were virtually through anyway. Shelbourne
  took the lead with a bizerre goal. Foran knoocking the ball out of 
  Arason's both hands with the keeper in full control. Amazingly, the ref
  let the goal stand. This was the visitors only chance of the game. 
  Berg salvaged some pride for the home side with a nice flick from a corner.
  In the third preliminary round RBK faces Dunaferr of Hungary, which willx
  be a tough nut to crack.
