Bodø/Glimt - Viking 2-1 (1-0) Aspmyra stadion Att: 4389 1-0 Eivind Eriksen (9) 2-0 Bengt Sæternes (59) 2-1 Erik Fuglestad (70) - B/G made sure Viking had to be satisfied with the bronze medals in 2001. An early goal gave the home side the initiative, which they never let go of. Bryne - Odd Grenland 1-3 (0-1) Bryne stadion Att: 3127 0-1 Martin Wiig (4) 0-2 Wiig (67) 0-3 Wiig (71) 1-3 Ole Hjelmhaug (74) - 18 year old Wiig celebrated his first game from the start by scoring a hat-trick. The goals keep Bryne in the play-off position, but only on goal difference ahead of Strømsgodset. A nervy last game is on the cards. Molde - Brann 0-3 (0-2) Molde stadion Att: 6397 0-1 Thorstein Helstad (14) 0-2 Helstad (22) 0-3 Petter Furuseth Olsen (88) - Brann put their bad run behind them and won in Molde. Top scorer Helstad ended his draught by scoring two goals. Furuseth Olsen added a third with an excellent individual effort. Brann can still qualify for Europe by ending fourth, as can Molde one point ahead at the moment. Moss - Lillestrøm 0-2 (0-1) Melløs stadion Att: 3645 0-1 Torgeir Bjarmann (40) 0-2 Bjarmann (66) Yellow card: Kasey Wehrman, Rune Tangen, Moss, Tom Kristoffersen, Lillestrøm. - LSK took their chance after RBK's loss and deservedly beat Moss. Two goals by captain Bjarmann on two corners settled the outcome. Now, the visitors are one point behind the champions, before their meeting with almost relegated Tromsø on the final day. Will the championship end up outside of Trondheim after all? Strømsgodset - Sogndal 2-2 (0-0) Marienlyst Att: 2769 0-1 Alexander Ødegaard (55) 1-1 Paal Chr. Alsaker (60) 2-1 Jostein Flo (71) 2-2 Ødegaaard (75) Yellow card: Vidar Evensen, Strømsgodset, Rune Eckhoff, Sogndal. - A draw was two points too little for SIF in their fight against relegation. Sogndal played better than last week, but the home team should have secured a win when they took the lead in the second half. Now, SIF find themselves level on points but one goal behind Bryne in the fight for the play-off spot. A thriller is in prospect on the last day. Tromsø - Lyn 2-3 (1-2) Alfheim stadion Att: 2250 1-0 Roar Christensen (4) 1-1 Kjetil Løvvik (22) 1-2 Løvvik (pen. 44) 1-3 Frode Hansen (51) 2-3 Jonny Hanssen (87) Yellow card: Frode Hansen, Lyn. - The game was delayed by 30 minutes because of snow(!) on the ground. When it started TIL scored first when Christensen used his hand in Maradona-style to push the ball into the net. But once more the home team proved unable to hold on to a lead, allowing Lyn to equalize and score the winning goals. With this result Lyn are certain to stay up, whereas only a miracle can save Tromsø after 15 years in the top flight. Rosenborg - Stabæk 0-1 (0-1) Lerkendal stadion Att: 16.007 0-1 Tryggvi Gudmundsson (21) Yellow card: Roar Strand, Rosenborg. - All was set for Rosenborg to secure a 10th Norwegian championship in front of their home fans and on national TV. However, the visitors had other ideas, taking the initiative from the start and deservedly going ahead. It could have been more too. After the break it was all Rosenborg, but somehow the ball didn't find its way into the Stabæk net. Now it's all open before the last round. Rosenborg have a point in hand (and a superior goal difference), but face Brann in Bergen, who would like nothing more than spoil their party. LSK on the other hand face Tromsø at home in what should be an easy home win. We'll find out next Sunday.
