- Vålerenga deservedly knocked out Viking but made heavy work of it as
  they allowed the visitors to equalize with their only chance of the game.
  But two goals at the end saved the team from Oslo day.  The last coming
  from a disasterous attempt of keeper Andersen to dribble out of his 
  penalty area.

- Stabæk qualify for the semifinals with considerable luck as they were 
  nearly out on several stages during the game.  Lyn dominated the second 
  half and missed a penalty.  The last equalizer for Stabæk happened two 
  minutes into injury time of extra time!  And at 4-3 for Lyn in the penalty
  shoot-out skipper Berntsen missed, as did his colleague Lustu with the
  next kick allowing Stabæk an undeserved win.
